It's a great day for The Flash tv series fans! The Flash is back continuing the 3rd season with its 10th episode titled as "Borrowing Problems from the Future." Our Barry is really affected with what he have seen from the future involving Iris' death. It affects his "hero responsibilities" in Central City.

With this premise, Barry can't even move a muscle when a certain meta human started to terrorize the city. He's afraid that if he do something with this situation, the future that have seen might happen. That's when another speedster comes to the picture. We all know that Wall aka the Kid Flash just acquired the "speed force" and wants to be in action. With, The Flash unable to do his duty he tried to intercept the new meta human but it seems Barry don't like it.

The Flash Season 3 Episode 1 - The Flashpoint Synopsis Revealed!

The CW finally released the synopsis / episode summary of the first episode of The Flash season 3 which also known as The Flashpoint episode. But before proceeding, I want to warn you that the summary reveals some of the details of the episode. Actually the details can be seen from the promo trailer.

Barry is living his dream life – his parents are alive, he’s asked Iris West (Candice Patton) on a date and he can finally be a normal guy as Central City has another speedster, Kid Flash, running around saving the city. When Barry starts forgetting parts of his old life, the Reverse Flash taunts his nemesis and tells him that there will be serious repercussions for Barry and the ones he loves if he continues to live in this alternate universe. In addition to losing his memories, his powers will also start to fade. When disaster strikes, Barry must decide if he wants to continue to live in this world as Barry Allen or return to his universe as The Flash. Source: The CW

Meanwhile, this picture shows Barry's Mom and Dad well and alive. The "side-effect" of what he did in the second season finale.

Here we see Eobard Thawne in prison. I guess this is where Barry put him after he stop this speedster from killing his mom. I am bothered with what he said in the promo trailer, "Who's the villain now Barry?" It seems like The Flash doing his worst in this season to get his happiness that he wants.

And my guess, Iris West of this timeline knows all about the timeline change and it seems continue their love in this Flashpoint episodes.

Flashpoint Plot: Story to Expect for The Flash Season 3

After what happen from the season 2 of The Flash series where Barry decided to change the timeline by saving her mother, a Flashpoint plot is to be expected. Grant confirmed it on his twit:

Now, questions of fans from around the globe was raised.Who will be the villain for this timeline? And what it will take for Barry to reset back to the original timeline? Will someone gonna die with the new timeline or all hell breaks loose which what happened with the comics plot and movie plot: Flashpoint Paradox? Of course this is a TV series and this might change, TV versions of comics usually does not copy word for word of its paper version.

One villain that is mentioned in some online publication is the newest villain of the speedster universe: GODSPEED.

Godspeed is the classic speedster-gone-bad but a lot more sympathetic.

Here's what the writer Josh Williamson tells about this new villain:

"Godspeed is much more calculating, and is a lot more sympathetic. There are days where, as I’m writing him, I feel like I relate to him. I think there’s going to be a conversation at some point, where someone is going to say to themselves, 'Is Godspeed actually a bad guy?' I think that’s what separates him."
